Doc Ed Dominguez was born in San Antonio, Texas just after penicillin was discovered, which probably explains why he specializes in Infectious Diseases. He went to Rice University and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. 

Although he aspired to be the Gynecologist to the Stars, his neckties typically were entangled with the speculum while performing pelvic examinations. The resulting kicks left a permanent scar on his fragile psyche, as well as his face. 

After spending $500 for neckties in one month, he opted instead for Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases – females around the world rejoiced. Doc Ed now practices in the sprawling East Texas metropolis of Tyler, Texas. He also appears on the local ABC-TV affiliate in Tyler, KLTV.
